Below is the step-by-step process of creating a private dinner.
If you are interested in weekly meal services, please contact Chef Jenn. The process is very similar to what is listed below, with the expectation of several trial days to customize your final services.
1. FIRST LET'S TALK
I want to know the foods you love and crave, as well as your vision for your party or special night. Services include everything from menu planning, tablescape, wine pairings, cannabis pairings, etc. Since each service is unique, we will provide a quote once we establish preliminary details.

Please fill out the form (Visit form) and let me know how I can best serve your event or culinary needs.
Please plan on sharing your estimated budget for your event.
2. MENUS AND MENU CREATION.
Menus are designed to cater to your personal preferences and can be tailored to accommodate any special dietary requirements for you and your guests. Alternatively, you can entrust Chef Jenn to craft a special seasonal menu, drawing inspiration from the finest ingredients San Diego has to offer. After understanding your needs through a thorough consultation, Chef Jenn will curate custom menus just for you. If you’re unsure of what you want, she can also share menus she has previously created for other clients. Check out our Menu page for more details.
3. SHOPPING
The best-tasting food starts with the best ingredients. Chef Jenn supports local purveyors as much as possible when sourcing. Foods will be purchased from farmers markets (depending on availability) or local establishments. She will typically shop at five to eight different stores for your event.
4. THE PREPARATION
When you book Chef Jenn for your private chef experience, she’ll prepare everything from scratch right in your home or vacation rental (except for dishes that call for advanced techniques). If there are any special cooking tools or serving dishes needed, Chef Jenn will bring those along too. This way, you can enjoy a delicious meal without having to worry about the details.
5. GO TIME.
She will arrive at your place in advance to unpack and set up for dinner. Arrival time is based on the services provided, including tablescaping, florals, and beverage setup. Expect arrival time no less then 2 to 3 hours before your event.
6. THE BREAKDOWN.
A multi-course menu typically comes with a lot of clean-up: plates, glassware, cutlery from each course, cooking equipment, etc. Rest assured that your kitchen will be left spotless. Chef Jenn wants you to enjoy your meal, relax, and be served fully.
